Senator Moran Speaks at Wireless Innovation Alliance Economic Briefing

On January 31, 2012 Senator Jerry Moran spoke at a briefing on Capitol Hill about the importance of preserving unlicensed spectrum. Senator Moran highlighted the fact that leaving a portion of spectrum for unlicensed use will enable companies to innovate in that space and those companies will then add jobs and grow the economy. Senator Moran said he believes that unlicensed spectrum provides an incredible opportunity to enable innovation, to increase competition, and to expand broadband.
